Valcion is an outpost on the western rim of the top of the Falor Plateau – the only outpost of six built by Bellmorn to have survived. It is a small settlement surrounded by a thick wooded palisade; a barracks, garden, and buildings for a small town are enclosed within its walls. Not far from town, a Torkordian pulley system allows supplies to be delivered to the outpost, and for fortune-seekers to ascend the side of the Plateau to join the outpost. The outpost draws fortune-seekers of all kinds: explorers, spelunkers, treasure-hunters, and outlaws aplenty. The outpost is not yet self-sufficient, and relies on regular resupplies from Bellmorn; however, supplies are limited and the outpost is constantly on the lookout for resources with which it might be more able to sustain itself.

History of the Location
The top of the Falor Plateau is almost unique across Falnorian in that it has never – as far as we know – been built upon. The ground is rough and unforgiving, and there have been few successful attempts to explore it across the entirety of its long history. There are remnants of an ancient 1st-Era civilization of dwarven and humans here, but all the ruins found so far are small and remote. There are also remnants of the Dark Council and their works here – also few and far between, but exceedingly dangerous. Rumors fly about haunts and other traces of history that can be found here, but little substantiated. More recently, there are the ruins of the other five failed outposts that Bellmorn built – many of them now overtaken by dangerous creatures, but sometimes a source of emergency shelter nonetheless.
