Kythrim is a small town built entirely underground within the Falor Plateau. It sits on the border between Bellmorn and the Riftlands, and has been passed between them several times; it has become a sort of travel stop between the two regions for merchants, travelers, and others. The city has a particularly high population of drow, as well as many peoples from both Bellmorn and the Riftlands – humans, elves, ogres, goblins, and so on – although the city itself has a somewhat low @ for its size. Kythrim is not known for any craft or trade in particular: some people do mining and tunnel maintenance, some work in cobbling and clothesmaking, others in basic alchemy, some as translators, and so on. The city tends to keep to itself, and doesn’t much concern itself with the rest of the world beyond its tunnels.

Features of Kythrim
The Tunnel Finders: The Tunnel Finders are a guild in Kythrim that specializes in finding items that have been lost in the tunnels – fallen trinkets, left-behind gear from dead bodies, stolen shipments, and so on. They are very good at cave-diving and navigating the tunnels.
The Glowmakers Workshop: An alchemicals workshop in Kythrim that specializes in making things that glow: glowbulbs, glowchalk, waterproof candles, and so on. They manufacture many of the glowbulbs used to light the Falor Plateau tunnel roads.
The Meeting Houses: Buildings meant to be chartered by groups of merchants, traders, researchers, and others who need a place to meet and confer. Some are quite small, and others very large; all include inn-like amenities and a central meeting space, and some also include stables or ballrooms or other workspaces.
History of Kythrim
Kythrim was founded by a group of drow looking to carve out a peaceful place for themselves away from the infighting between factions of their people. Though it remained a small village for many years, in the last few decades it has grown significantly. As it has passed back and forth between Bellmorn and the Riftlands, both have built upon it: the Riftlands built upon the city itself, Bellmorn built upon the roads that led to and from it, and Kythrim slowly grew into a sort of travel stop between Bellmorn and the Riftlands. It is now populated by peoples from both regions, as well as the original founders – many of whom still live here.
