3rd of Tenthmoon, Year 277.1.3 (Lakestone Enclave)

Firstly, adventurers went to investigate the source of a strange noise being heard across the Weyrwoods’s scant farmland; there, they found a ghostly translucent caribou and saw a vision of knights, a giant blue ram, and granaries. They then led caribou from their pastures to a ceremonial pen to prepare for an All Hallows Seeing Ritual; two of the three caribou survived. Their last chosen task was to investigate the source of local berry groves which had been burned; and found there followers of the Harbingers, and were defeated by them.

Adventurers this day spent their time securing the roads ahead of the winter snows. Their first choice was the glimroads that lead between enclaves; they then assisted some Belast builders in constructing a “true road” from Eldar to the Weyrwoods to facilitate trade and travel between the two regions. Both of these roads were completed, and dangerous along them cleared out.

Much was done this day; firstly, adventurers assisted in protecting and hallowing a grove dedicated to The Dagda, Odin, and Veles. This done, they moved on to assist a nearby enclave – Bramblewood – in locating new water sources, since their sources of fresh water had begun to run white. They were able to help identify freshwater sources, but had trouble holding them against an onslaught of dangerous creatures also searching for fresh water. Lastly, they traveled to a trading post to trade with Eldar for ingredients for the upcoming All Hallows ritual; after being redirected around the forest, they traded and returned.

The first thing these adventurers did was to do battle with the bands of Harbinger Followers gathering near the Enclave and threatening its people and food sources; they were successful in defending the enclave from these bands, with minimal loss of life. Afterwards, they attempted to protect a seer performing an Oracle ritual about the ghostly caribou; they were unable to defend the ritual to completion, and only received scattered clues about the creature.

With little time to spare and with the first snow underway, adventurers went out to intercept a group of Bellmorn soldiers who had crossed into the Weyrwoods and were using the glimroads. Once there, the troops ordered them to yield to Bellmorn and that the conquest of Eldar was near completion; adventurers negotiated, and then the troops vanished and left only the ghostly deer, which then faded as well.

24th of Tenthmoon, Year 277.1.3 (Lakestone Enclave)

Adventurers set out to the shores of the White Lake on a twofold mission: to scour the shores for artifacts to use in the Seeing Ritual, and to search for more signs of what was causing more nearby waters to turn white with volcanic slurry. They were able to recover some artifacts as well as some crystalline; then proceeded to the foot of a tower that had appeared in a field some weeks prior and had begun to fade. There, they found an ongoing meeting with the King of Eldar and his advisors, who seemed unaware of their presence; and brought reports of their discussion back to the enclave.

The first order of business of the day was to help escort a Tree of Life herbalist distribute herbs to areas affected by volcanic activity and the caustic buildup of crystalline. They were able to escort the herbalist safely, and distributed the last of the enclave’s herbs. Afterwards, they went to meet some traders that were being harassed by animals; upon confronting them they discovered that the animals were fey in disguise, who delivered to them a cryptic poem.

28th of Eleventhmoon, Year 277.1.3 (Lakestone Enclave)

Adventurers set out to meet Bellmorn at the river, where they were sighted building a tower. There was hot debate over where Bellmorn actually was and whether they were able to build there; after some discussion, Bellmorn and their tower vanished and the party sighted their now-familiar ghostly caribou. Afterwards, they helped set up a healing grove with the Tree of Life followers; the grove would allow healing to be done instantly and circumvent many of the problems associated with ritual magic near the Lake. This was done successfully, though at great cost as many perished to undead that were drawn to the space.
